Charity & Nursery Management Committee
Gosforth Nursery is a registered charity and limited company, run by a parent management committee whose members are elected by the parents/carers of the children who attend the nursery. Elections take place at our Annual General Meeting, usually held each September. The management committee is responsible for:

managing the nursery finances

employing staff
-
ensuring that the nursery has – and works to – policies which help it to provide a high-quality service

promoting partnership between the nursery and parents/carers.
They rely on the knowledge and expertise of the Nursery Manager, who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the group.
Together with staff, members organise fundraising events for the nursery. We welcome willing parents/carers to help with these, including planning for and helping at these events.
